Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to ScreenDub, operated by Omprakash Sah Kanu, doing business as ScreenDub ("we," "us," or "our"). By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
1. Subscription Model
ScreenDub offers monthly recurring subscriptions (Creator, Pro, and Teams plans). Subscriptions are billed on the first day of each billing cycle and automatically renew each month unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
2. How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through either of the following:
- Account settings:navigate to Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription to access the Stripe Customer Portal and cancel directly
- Email: contact us at hello@screendub.io with your account email and we will process the cancellation for you
Upon cancellation, your subscription will not renew at the next billing date. You will retain full access to your paid plan features through the end of the current billing period. No partial-period extensions or credits are issued after the period ends.
3. Refund Policy
ScreenDub subscriptions are generally non-refundable. Because the Service delivers immediate access to AI processing capacity, voice generation, and export quota upon subscription activation, we do not issue refunds for partial months of service used.
New Subscriber Guarantee
If you subscribed to a paid plan for the first time within the last 7 days and have not completed any exports, you may request a full refund of your first payment by contacting hello@screendub.io. Refund eligibility is assessed at our sole discretion based on account activity at the time of the request.
4. Free Plan
The Free plan carries no charge and is not subject to this Policy. No payment is collected for Free tier access.
5. Failed Payments
If your payment method fails, Stripe will automatically attempt to retry the charge according to its dunning schedule. If payment is not successfully collected after multiple attempts, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan and access to paid features suspended. You will be notified by email of any payment failures.
To restore access, update your payment method in account settings or contact us at hello@screendub.io.
6. Plan Changes
- Upgrades: take effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period at the new plan rate.
- Downgrades: take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. You retain your current plan features through the end of the period.
7. Billing Disputes
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at hello@screendub.io before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and directly. Unresolved disputes are handled through Stripe's dispute resolution process.
Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in the immediate suspension of your account while the dispute is pending.
