Privacy & your data
Last updated
Your recordings, decks, and videos are yours. This page explains where your files live, who can see them, and how to remove them. For the full policy, see our privacy policy.
Where your files are stored
Your source files, narration audio, and exports are kept in secure, private cloud storage. They are not public by default. Only you can open them from your account.
We do not train on your content
ScreenDub does not use your recordings, decks, or videos to train AI models. Your content is used to make your video, and nothing more.
Share links
A project stays private until you turn on sharing. When you do, anyone with the link can watch it, and search engines are asked not to list the page. Turn sharing off to take the page down. See Downloading & share links.
Deleting your work
- Delete a project to remove its source file, audio, and exports from storage.
- Delete your account to remove your profile, projects, and all generated content.
- Billing records are kept by our payment provider as their own rules require.
