Script & voice

Script styles

Last updated

A script style sets the tone of your narration. It shapes how the script is written and read. The same recording can sound like a polished demo or a calm tutorial. The style changes the delivery, not the facts.

Available styles

ScreenDub offers a range of styles to match the job:

  • Product Demo. A confident, value-led walkthrough for prospects.
  • Tutorial. Precise, step-by-step how-tos in order.
  • Course. Structured lessons with a clear goal, paced for learning.
  • Training. Thorough team training built for retention.
  • Corporate. Clear internal comms, professional and direct.
  • Presentation. A polished presenter voice that guides an audience.
  • Pitch. High-conviction sales and investor energy.
  • Social Explainer. Hook-first and punchy for social feeds.
  • Review. A candid, opinionated take that weighs the good and the bad.
  • Narration. Neutral narration that describes what is on screen.
  • Vlog. Casual and personal, like talking to a friend.
  • Dramatic Vlog. A vlog with more energy and bigger beats.

Choosing a style

You pick a style when you set up a project. You can change it later and regenerate the narration. Try a couple of styles to see which fits your content.
